About the Author Tanya Provines is a freelance author, illustrator, and artist with a BFA degree from the University of Oklahoma. She has written several books, one audio book, and more than 100 eBooks. Oklahoma Red Dirt Artwork TM is her signature media. Using genuine Oklahoma red soil, she draws and paints archival quality portraits, landscapes, and wildlife scenes. She is also a licensed art teacher and a former certified Grumbacher Fine Art instructor. This lovely book is done in grayscale, where the pictures are done in shades of gray instead of black outlines. You color on top of the gray to produce outstanding pictures. Much nicer than you get with standard coloring books. It's really a lot of fun and takes only a few minutes to figure out. You can see the picture I've attached from the book. Color right on the shading, it 'disappears' even with lighter colors. Use the shading to guide your lights and darks, lights with lights, darks with darks.Here are the basics: It has 24 pictures, 2 of each one for a total of 48. You can share coloring or color them again. Each picture is on its own page. Paper weight is nice.
