By ladyb Although very simplistic in nature, this book is a way to compare your mediums as there are duplicates of each photo. It would also be fantastic for children but not for adults In my opinion it is way overpriced for what it offers. I also notice the author has given her own book a review ?? How unbiased is her review ? Sorry I bought this book.

Informative guide By Sarah I'm glad I decided to purchase this book because it has so much useful information about oil pulling and oral health in general. I'm really interested in learning about natural supplements so I was excited to see a section in the book about supplements for oral health. There are even recipes for homemade toothpaste and mouthwash in here!

Before I FINALLY FOUND this wonderful book, I went through quite a few sample books. This book I found excellent and more useful information in it than others I read.Yes, this book is at a very low price, yet is amazing because it gave me information about what oil pulling is, how to oil pull, how long to oil pull, and a comparison of different oils to use.Also included is the many benefits in the body from dental improvements to different all over health improvements.In my opinion, the author has really researched thus material. 14 of 16 people found the following review helpful. Experienced Guitar Player....Inexperienced Dead Player By billymac72 The Grateful Dead are not Led Zeppelin or Van Halen. The only reason I point out something so incredibly obvious is that for guitar players, finding accurate transcriptions of the Dead's guitar work can be frustrating. Bands like Van Halen were - apart from some studio overdubs - singular guitar attacks. This is why they are so popular with beginning guitar players (not to take anything away from how great those bands are....I'm sure you follow my drift). This is likely what made VH, Zep, Sabbath, etc. monthly features in guitar magazines. Numerous publications pore over their material to a redundant degree. Grateful Dead? Not so much. In this sense, a book like this is long overdue.What makes the Dead interesting is that, at their heart, they are an improvisational band. Delving into their recordings, one finds that the styles of Garcia and Weir, while highly complementary, are quite different.While I appreciate the Grateful Dead, I've never been an aficionado (always had a soft spot for Mars Hotel & Live Reckoning though). I'm playing in a band who all adore the Dead, however, so I am often tasked with learning their material. While many guitar players will utilize their own improvisational approach in learning the Dead's songs (in the spirit of the band itself), I am a precision player and strive to learn the songs as true to the originals as I can. It is my way of paying respect to what the band did, what their fans may expect and my own method of learning new styles (I've a new appreciation for Bob Weir for sure). Doing this by ear has always been rather tricky for me given the lexicon of chord voicings impressively utilized by Weir, mainly. His tracks are often less prominent than Garcia's, and often plain difficult to discern given the harmonic interplay between the two. In other words, when multiple guitar parts are combined, like vocal harmonies, it can be tricky to make out the individual parts by ear with accuracy. The original mix often buries the nuance of each as well.The good news is that this book delivers in a huge way, although I'm sure will disappoint some by what is NOT included. What is here (which is substantial, btw) is extremely accurate, including transcriptions for each guitar track (sometimes up to four at a time). The versions included are:1. St. Stephen (Aoxomoxoa)2. For the past almost two years Zen Cooper had been traveling the world as a dancer and had become renown for her grace, elegance and style. She had a neglected love affair with Marcellus who was fast becoming a sought after artist and she missed home. Center City was where her father, Charlie, mom, Frieda, little brother and grandmother were and though she had flown in an out and they visited her, she needed home. ¥¥¥¥ Marcellus’ intent with Zen had always been to be the right man, the man who would not demand her time or stand in the way of her successes because he was on a trajectory to success of his own but he missed her and wanted and needed to see her more than he admitted. Having lost his mother and gaining a long lost father and new brother, both of whom he had grown to love was a boon but there was no comparison to Zen. He had been advised that they were both young and should soar and fly before committing but that hadn’t lessened his yearning for her and sometimes his unexpressed feelings about her being gone. He needed her and it was past time to see where they were and where they were going, if anywhere. ¥¥¥¥ Charlie Jones held his wife Frieda on his paint splattered lap. He had been working fast and furiously on a one man show and wanted it to be done before Zen returned home for at least a year. Zen was the daughter who had loved from afar while suffering with mental illness and only in the last few years had they become a true family when her mother Frieda finally married him three years earlier. They had a two year old son, he adored but no one and nothing was like his Zen. Frieda looked up at him, a smile on her face. “You are so excited about your baby coming home and promising not to travel for a year, aren’t you?” She teased. He grinned at her sheepishly. “I am. That is my baby and I am so proud of her. She is a true miracle considering her father used to be vet with bi-polar issues that were untreated…” “And her mom was in denial about everything… I know but Charlie you were always about her and her wellbeing and none of that really matters now. By San Michelle Whew, I feel like a broken record when writing reviews for Angelia's books - but let me say it again - there is NOT another author out there that writes the GROWN and Sexy stuff like she does. Zen's Zenith had me all in my feelings. I felt Marcellus love for Zen and it really saddened me that she wasn't ready for all he wanted in a relationship. Then on the other hand, I applaud the women, character, wisdom, and strength that Zen exudes and like the relationship that her and Gael have.... Ugh, I'm already anxiously waiting for the next release in this series because I can tell it is going to be good, good, good! Oh almost forgot - was so happy for Kevin and Maleeka and loved seeing their relationship come full circle! Loved the relationship between Zen and her daddy/grandmother - loved the cameo appearances from Shaka and Abasha (my all time favorite series)!! I could go on and on - so just one click - you will not be disappointed!!!

I laughed so hard and loud at her antics! She is the most! My favorite scene was when Zen took her man friend to see grandma. I hollered so loud! (You gotta read it for yourself)What I appreciate about this book is Zen has flaws! The life lesson (for me) is that she is willing to accept wise counsel, she is true to herself, and she doesn't take life so serious that she can't enjoy life and have experiences.  Not only is she honest with herself, but she's honest with others.Ms Angelia rocks!!!I am a beta reader for Ms Angelia and was asked to post an honest review.

Although she's involved with two men, she's still her own woman and trying to make a difference around the world. This was a fantastic read and I could not put it down the until I had read all of the way through to the very last page.Frank is a big, strong, sexy alpha werewolf who is not looking for a mate but hunting down his three younger sisters. He finds his sisters and someone else as well, his mate.Amber is a beautiful, feisty, strong willed witch who is not looking for a mate, when she realizes that is who Frank is, she is on the run.This book is non stop action from beginning to end, it is a roller coaster ride of ups and downs. You never know what is going to happen next. Amber does not want a mate and poor Frank gets the brunt of all her anger, until she realizes it's to late and she has been won over by the big sexy alpha.I loved this story and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves paranormal romances. I know you will live it as much as I did. Be sure to pick up a copy, you will be very very glad that you did.

She just seemed a little too conniving and couldnt seem to make up her mind to me. I expect some resistance and even a lot from the characters this author writes. She was a bit too much though for me. I really loved Frank. I felt bad for him a lot of the time. Poor guy had 5 women in the house before Amber. 4 sisters can you imagine them all coming at you at once? LOL. Yeesh! Enjoyed it all around.

By A M Kavanagh Bad Wold the Trouble with Sisters, features a hen pecked Alpha, living with 5 she wolves, an elder and 4 hormonal younder sisters. Ouch, feel a little sorry for the guy. A snarky BFF vampire. A Fae mate trying to run from the mating pull. A vampire wis wants a piece of the witch. A fun fast read. Hope all the sisters get a story!

Great information in "Life without Diabetes" book, by Dr. George Kosmides By Donna Roy I enjoyed reading this book and learned some new information, tips, and tricks. I've been too busy lately to try the recipes, but will soon.I like the menus, grocery lists, and recipe section in the back, along with the dietary restrictions and suggested substitutions. This is something that is very doable!

This book was a great point of reference either by itself or to go along with my new way of eating! What a change this book as made in my life.I would recommend it to people with any eating struggles.

By Sharon Boyce This is the 2nd book I bought "Life Without Diabetes" by Dr. George Kosmides. I bought a 2nd for a friend because this is a EXCELLENT book for anyone who wants to avoid getting Diabetes, is pre Diabetic or has type 1 or 2 Diabetes. Dr. George points out that it's not all about taking meds., nor is it just a diet, but it's a lifestyle that most doctors don't teach patients. Dr. George will walk you through the whys and hows of how to get healthy and stay healthy while lowering insulin levels naturally. This book is also helpful for type 1 diabetics because it enables them to cut their meds. way down if they follow the wonderful, easy to understand regimen that Dr. George lays out in this book. Dr. George has also taken the time to list what to eat for several weeks, the menu plans for daily use and EVEN the grocery lists that go with each week! The recipes are easy and really good. This book is also great for hypoglycemics. This book is a well rounded, an easy read and to understand, and I do recommend it to anyone who is serious about their life and would like to get healthy, fit and feel great. Thank you Dr. Kosmides for creating something ANYONE can do.

About the Author Shawn S. Lealos graduated from the Gaylord School of Journalism at the University of Oklahoma with an emphasis on professional writing. By Director Quality look, and a quality book. Journalist Shawn S. Lealos interviews multiple directors of the somewhat elusive Dollar Baby deals, authorized by Stephen King himself, thus indirectly, they become an extension of his great lineage to modern literature. I have always considered King as the Shakespeare of our times and this book is a great addition to an admirer of his works and how young-directors find their own voices and visions with his spark.

And I'll bet I know at least one dark corner you know very little about -- the Dollar Baby.I'm really enjoying Shawn S. Lealos' book, Dollar Deal: The Stephen King Dollar Baby Filmmakers. This is a project I've been following for some time, so the finished product is a real treat for me. I interviewed Shawn a couple years ago, and I'm really happy to say that the finished book is a slam dunk. I love it!

By Punk Doctor Here is a summary of the book: Walt Disney built an amazing park and it quickly gets ruined by dumb people trying to make a buck. Despite the book's cover, Disney does NOT look like the bad guy here, just a company trying to protect itself from a flood of frivolous lawsuits.Koenig did a great job of research and his list of court cases in the appendix appears exhaustive. The book is written in his typical fun style, which is critical for a book like this that could have been boring in someone else's hands. There are many interesting stories of people trying to sue the park for mostly silly reasons. It also covers Disney's sometimes over zealous prosecution of people too.Personally my favorite lawsuit was the person who was hit in the back by a bullet fired from outside the park. They sued claiming that Disney should have prevented bullets from entering the park somehow. I know that Disneyland is magical, but c'mon!Anyone interested in Disney or the history of theme parks will love this book.

With the same fluid, readable style that made his "Mouse Tales" books so entertaining, David Koenig assembles and categorizes 60 years of lawsuits in which Disneyland was the defendant--nearly 1,300, according to the book jacket. As with The Nickel Tour, a history of Disneyland told in postcards, the incidents, claims, and eventual resolutions of these cases paint a vivid portrait of a magical park that changed after Walt Disney died and turned dramatically away from maintenance and safety in the 1990s when, not coincidentally, the park began losing in court and paying large out of court settlements. The book concludes with a comprehensive list of cases and sources, categorized as Slips, Trips & Bumps, Collapsing Objects, Struck by Cast Member, and so on. Interesting for several reasons and extremely well-written.

By Penn As usual with any book that David writes, it is very well researched, and told in a way that gives us insight into many of the problems that Disneyland has encountered over the years. Being a retired cast member who actually testified in a few of these trials, it hit right to the fact that some folks are just looking for a free ride. Knowing first hand that D/L does everything they can to be as safe as possible,.but keeping up with the increased crowds and technology of the attractions has been a challenge.In the early years when money was tight and the park was crowded with limited attractions, capacity was emphasized, to keep the wait times down. Now with the addition of Disneyland's Californian Adventure, once it was redone after the Eisner, Pressler fiasco, it has allowed them to slow things down, putting even more the emphasize for safety.Well done, can't wait for his next book.Robert Dale

It's basically a collection of interviews with badasses--some of people I knew about already and some I want to learn more about. After spending time with this book, it's not hard to figure out why Nashville is booming now. There are tons of great things going on there now.

By Thomas Myles This book makes me want to move to Nashville...the overall message of just "going for it" and pursuing your creative passion runs throughout. It seems like innovative thinking is the norm in Nashville. And, with the food, the arts, the business scenes all thriving, Nashville seems so much more than just a music town -- no wonder it's such a hot city. The photography is excellent (...and there are plenty of smiles).
