By Krista Pros:- Affordable- Very Detailed- Tons of designs- Works best with pen and colored pencilCons:- Marker will bleed- Pages will warp with very light amounts of watercolor- Designs are very detailed so you need to use a median with a very fine tip.- Slight pixelationSo I bought this along with a few other coloring books to try out. There are tons of coloring books by this author that are new and cheap and I picked this one because I liked the preview pages the most. I am a bit OCD and I felt that the symmetry of the designs would please me. I have tried color pencil, marker, and watercolor on these pages (All Prismacolor). The colored pencil, obviously, works the best. With the marker I put two pages underneath the page I was working on and I have pictured the front and back of the page I drew on. The marker does bleed a bit which made me got out of the lines quiet often and the marker did bleed a bit onto both pages I had under (but luckily not the next coloring page). Most of the pages are going to be much too detailed for marker and watercolor so pencil and pen will work the best. The watercolor was watercolor pencil and I used extremely light amounts of water with two pages underneath. While it turns out alright it is very light and the page still starts to warp which I have also pictured.I have read other reviews were people do not like the pixelation so I have provided a close up of that as well.My first photo will compare the size to my 11x14 notebook that I worked on.Overall I am very pleased with this coloring book and the amount of detail it has. It will keep you busy!

Volume #3: similar to the other volumes by this author, not repeats, more square designs to create a 3D look By BellaBella by the sea ~~~ Third volume of the Equilibrium series. Again, there are no repeats from Volumes I and II. Seems to have more mandalas comprised of squares within squares creating a geometric look. Those can be a lot of fun creating a 3D look with color choices or different hues of the same color.Featured particulars:~ 8.5" x 8.5" book~ 25 mandalas in round and square designs~ 6,5" in size, unbordered pages~ good printing resolution~ single sided printed, back page is blank~ fair quality paper, conducive more for coloring pencils; any alcohol or gel marker will readily bleed through~ lots of variety, no repeated designs from other books~ very geometric or flowing or stars; the 'string' designs are interesting to work~ some designs are very intricate with small coloring areas requiring ultra fine point markers or sharpened pencils~ balanced with lots of more open designs to shade~ this is a bound book, pages are not perforated for easy removal to share around the coloring table or frame~ printed well away from binding for cutting out with paper craft knife
