The best film writing makes you want to sit down and watch the movies and this has that quality in spades! Perfect for cinefiles, lovers of Japanese culture, and monster movies!

Good book but By Opeth32 I thought this book was informative on the Godzilla front of things but the juvenile cursing thrown throughout the book was ridiculous. Are these authors still in 3rd grade? For that reason this book is not appropriate for young kids and unfortunately young kids will probably read this book and it gets 3 star from me

A Kaiju sized dissapointment By cocozilla Reading this book was like being trapped with several unshowered Godzilla fanboys in a rather dirty hotel room filled with empty pizza boxes and mountain dews on the last day of a science fiction convention. There is nothing new from this book in the least...just the kind of ramblings without much substance, focus or nuance that most fandom becomes. Like most fans "critical' musings, it veers often between "That rocks" and "that sucks". A Subtle, insightful, balanced look at these films, this is not. Fans are to be admired for their passion...but like most fans...the authors are not really good critics, or particularity good writers.
