I followed this story for much of its run when it was being published online, and was thrilled to finally be able to get it in published format. The book is a nice size and fits well on the shelf with my collections of other webcomics. I wish the pages were just a little thicker than they are - the solid print job on it is just a little too visible through the pages for my taste, but that's a minor nitpick. The story is great, and it was nice to be able to read through it in one go without having to click through to each strip. The "bonus" stories (most published online as well) are just as humorous in the book (when the artist got his appendix removed, the alternate comic that is sort of a pre-cursor to Bag Drop) as they were online, and the additional bonus content only found in the books is a worthy addition. For people who enjoy golf, this is a great book, but I'm a complete non-golfer, I just enjoy Sargent's humor and illustration style, and I loved the comic. The characters are relatable, from the slacker (or slackers...) to the crazy or oblivious bosses... it's a solid run of a comic, with a clear ending, which makes this a great standalone book.

Hilarious Comic By Phil Rood I was completely new to this comic when it was released as a book, not having read it online or seeing it get passed around. Now that I've read it, all I can say is that I wish I HAD found it sooner. This is one of those comic strips that seems like it might have flown under the radar, but it really shouldn't have, this comic deserves a much bigger audience. It's really solid, consistent, and entertaining all the way through.Matthew Sargent crafts some amazing jokes to accompany his great artwork. He pulls from the universal experience of that crappy job we all have in our early-20s, those weird dudes we work with, and the characters he fleshes out and lets us all know. It's a great slice-of-life strip that got me to actually laugh out loud more than a couple times as I read through the book. The back matter is unique, fun, interesting and a cool take on recasting characters and the entire book is a great presentation of the material. If you are a fan of comic strips, I urge you to give this one a shot.

The author's sense of humor is infectious. I don't know anything about golf, but I didn't find that a hindrance to enjoying the content of this book, and that was really encouraging and surprising to me. I'm glad this book exists - it's encouraging and reminded me that the art of comics is alive and well. :)
