By TwinmomSue "Sexy Liberal: Of Me I Sing" is a sometimes serious, sometimes touching, always funny look into Stephanie's life before the basement that is best read to the mental soundtrack of her often misplaced fingers on her box followed by the loving encouragement of Producer Chris as he utters "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?"If you love Steph and the Mooks this book will remind you why. If you are not a fan it should set the hook and reel you in. If you are a RW troll, well, f%*k off as the C&#tessa would say.It's a shot glass full of Mama that you can carry in your pocket ❤️. Buy it today, enjoy it LIBERALLY and laugh often.
19 of 19 people found the following review helpful. Love the book By ME Love the book! It is not only a fun read but Stephanie doesn't hold back on anything which makes it engaging. Her actual emails at the end have some great zingers by her in response. Please write a sequel! I was sorry when I was finished. I admit I've been an avid listener to The Stephanie Miller show since It began airing, yet I still learned new things. Her true voice comes through the written word here. Buy this book!
15 of 15 people found the following review helpful. What is there not to love? By Tempusfugitve Stephanie is a rare quad threat! Radio/TV Host, Pod/Vlog caster, Comedian, and Expert wine taster. What is there not to love? I would have put Actress but 5 lines or less status really doesn’t allow for that. Trying the quad thing again, she is funny, smart, strong, and the definition of self-depreciating. Being a liberal means questioning all things in a filter of care for all. We are not a group that falls into one talking point often to our detriment. We lack voices with big enough reach to explore what it means to be progressive and yet we even give the other side a platform to talk back to spite they own about 95% of the radio reach. Steph is still standing not only on radio but has expanded to comedy tours, comedy albums, and embracing digital media in all forms including this book. So as she would say BUY HER BOOK! I did and even as a super fan that knows pretty much what can publicly be known about her I learned, laughed, and just wait to see how she continues to move beyond old media models and makes the term Liberal sexy again.
