By David I decided to buy this resource seeing how this drug seems to be quite prevalent in the club/bar atmosphere; which is where I spend most of my time as a bartender. I read this because sometimes I am forced to have to deal with customers that are users of such substances and I feel that educating myself is necessary in order to identify what these people are on, in case of medical attention.The author does an exceptional job giving all the vital information that will inform one of the dangers as well as benefits of this substance; however, I myself am not keen on trying it. I found this book useful and look forward to reading more by this author in days to come.I would get this if you are like me and looking to educate yourself on the topic or even if you may be curious about what to expect when around someone that may be using this.This a helpful, straight-forward resource that answered all my questions and I am very glad I found it!

A Nice Guide to Understanding Ecstasy By D Roberts Ecstasy: The Ultimate Guide for Understanding MDMA… is a powerful read loaded with timely information and clear to understand facts and dangers. The author takes a truly unbiased approach to understanding a rather complicated drug and never takes addiction or any dependency lightly, even offering a nice look at the different risk factors and preventions for help. The author provides a clear section on the different types of drugs, from narcotics and stimulants to depressants and hallucinogens there is some great stuff covered. But at its core this a good look at Ecstasy, with a look at the history, the rave scene, how it works, and the possible effects and side-effects of MDMA’s. And with our ever evolving drug laws, there was a clear, quick look at the legality and status from around the world.

It is objective and insightful; the author isn't persuading you to do drugs or not do drugs, and the research and information he presented is very comprehensive. I learned many things, and most importantly, this book helped me realize how much of the representation of drugs in the mainstream media is over dramatized. Brad Durant was able to pack lots of information in 44 pages including ecstasy's history and how it works. Very interesting.
