SCOTT CRAIG, PSYD is a licensed clinical psychologist, operating committee board member, and faculty member for the residency program of Cabarrus Family Medicine (Carolinas Healthcare System) in North Carolina. Dr. Craig previously worked as the assistant regional mental health chief for the Carolina Permanente Medical Group. Dr. Craig has published on topics such as adult ADHD and anxiety disorders in family medicine.

Attitudes, Skills and Knowledge to Successfully Integrate Psychological and Medical Health Care By Amazon Customer I found Dr. Scott Craig's textbook on Integrated Psychological Services in Primary Care to be an excellent resource. The information and experience reflected in this text is clearly written and is a practical guide for those professionals currently in practice or preparing to practice. The topics covered across the 13 chapters of his book offer helpful attitudes, skills and knowledge for practitioners. Medical practitioners, psychologists, social workers, Licensed Professional Counselors and counselors with varying training who wish to integrate psychological care and supplement medical services to patients within a primary care setting should read this book. Even if you are already working in a primary care setting I believe you would benefit from reading this book to expand your understanding of the ways that various health care professionals can work together optimally to promote overall health in the patients and families they serve. During the last 17 years of my 37 years of practice as a psychologist I helped write, develop and teach a Behavioral Health Curriculum to family physicians in a residency training program. This text would have been a useful aid to both the behavioral health teaching faculty, the physician teaching faculty and the residents as well. I highly recommend this text for mental health professionals in training, those already practicing who are considering joining a primary care setting to provide clinical or teaching services, medical residents and medical teaching faculty.
