Perhaps the picture of an apple helped stimulate that appetite...In any case, Dennis Garcia has re-kindled that old desire for knowledge. He provides 120 wonderful words in Logoons. Some are old favorites. Most are new to me. The accompanying cartoons not only tickle the funny-bone, but are sure to help with memory...As I get older, I look for ways to stimulate the "little grey cells," as my old Belgian friend would say. Dennis has included references with websites for each word at the end of the book for anyone who wants to "go deeper." I definitely recommend Logoons to any one who loves words!

This book has strong potential to be an amazing learning tool thanks to the utilization of definitions to define the comic scenes as well as being a plain fun read. I highly recommend Logoons to anyone who enjoys lighthearted toon comics.
