About the Author De-ann Black is a bestselling author, scriptwriter and former newspaper journalist. She has over 50 books published. Romance, crime thrillers, espionage novels, action adventure. And children's books (non-fiction rocket science books, children's fiction and picture books). She previously worked as a full-time newspaper journalist for several years. She had her own weekly columns in the press. This included being a motoring correspondent where she got to test drive cars every week for the press for three years. Before being asked to work for the press, De-ann worked in magazine editorial writing everything from fashion features to social news. And was marketing editor of a glossy magazine. She is also a professional artist and illustrator. And photographer. Fabric design, dressmaking, sewing, knitting and fashion are part of her work. She also loves to bake cakes. Additionally, De-ann has always been interested in fitness, and was a fitness and bodybuilding champion, 100 metre runner and mountaineer. As a former N.A.B.B.A. Miss Scotland, she had a weekly fitness show on the radio that ran for over three years. De-ann trained in Shukokai karate, boxing, kickboxing, Dayan Qigong, and Jiu Jitsu. But this is a book by a single artist on a single theme. If you're looking for a challenging book with many different designs, this isn't for you. But if you are a bee enthusiast (like me), this is perfect! There's a mandala made of bees and beehives. Another with bees and butterflies. Beautiful bees on almost each and every page. The designs are single sided, so you can use markers, if you like. I wish they were also thicker and perforated, but they are not. Despite that, though, I love this book! if you love bees, you will, too!

Everything is the same, the pages look as though they've been photo copied and are all squiggly and blurry. I feel like every page has the same design on it so there's nothing new. I colored one page and haven't bothered with the rest.
1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. The good and the bad... By Mudge The paper is cheap and designs just ok, so many other great adult coloring books out there. Johanna Basford is my favorite, especially her postcards. Having said that, though, it is cheaply priced and good for beginners, or to color along with children. The one plus is that all the pictures are one-sided, so if you color with markers it is ok if it leaks through, as long as you put something under it.
