About the Author Anita Lovitt is an award-winning illustrator and painter. She is also a teacher of watercolor classes and workshops at many cultural institutions in South Florida. Her surface designs have been produced on products for the gift market and she has designed cards for Hallmark and other companies. Her first self-published book, Shoefirmations, combines 2 things women love, shoes and coloring, with positive affirmations.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Love it!! By carol I love this coloring book full of shoes and affirmations!! I've already colored two of the shoes and it's so much fun. You don't have to love shoes or be very creative in order to really enjoy this fun book.

By susan buy this book!!! you will love the illustrations, and the affirmations included in this book. the illustrations are witty, charming, and fun to color. the affirmations are thought provoking. makes a great little gift for many. consider buying this book as a stocking stuffer for the holidays, or, as a gift for a treasured friend. or, a neighbor. kids will love to color these cute little shoes with all the little designs in them, too. my estimation is that children (not just girls!!) between the ages of 6-12 will really love it. take it from an art teacher (me!). coloring is now accepted as the new Zen. and this lightweight little book is very portable, making it easy to carry around, to use at moments when you need to relax, or just want to do something besides stare at a wall or read old magazines at a dr.'s office, for instance. just pack a small zipper case (a kid's little pencil case?) full of sharpened colored pencils plus a sharpener, a few markers, or a few tip sharpening crayons (a newish innovation in crayons). or, just keep it near you, at home, so that at stressful moments, it will be there for you to use. or, use it while talking on the phone. read the affirmations, and color the shoe on the page, while thinking about the affirmation. highly recommended.
