12 of 13 people found the following review helpful. Not my cup of tea By Sondra Puckett Compared to other coloring books I have this one has a great deal of black, leaving not much room to color. I prefer books with open designs with thin lines. The designs if simply outlined would have been lovely. Some of the pages were black with some open ares of white. Not much room to color. The extensive ares of black also determined the look of the finished page. Not my cup of tea.

7 of 8 people found the following review helpful. Gorgeous designs, but pages are printed front and back. By Roseanne M. This is a collection of beautiful designs with Eastern inspiration. About half the pages are white with black lines, and the other half have a black background with white lines (see my photo). Despite the fine lines this page went very quickly. The black ground proved very forgiving when getting out of the lines. I used Stabilo Neon 68 and 88 markers on my page, and they did not bleed though. The paper is nice quality, and there are a lot of pages!BUT, this leads to my only con for the book: the pages are printed front and back (double-sided). This is a major pet peeve in coloring books for me. What if you want to tear it out and frame it, etc.? Then you don't get to use the design on the back. I tried scanning the back side in (to print out later), but the black pages didn't scan well. I like to remove my pages and put them on a clipboard when I color, so I just can't give 5 stars to a double-sided coloring book.
