Ugh...took sooo long and Caleb was at the end of his rope...I knew he was hanging by a thread poor guy. Boy though I give him props for giving her the time she needed to come to her own conclusion that he isn't anything like the vampire who killed her family. I wish she sorta didnt make him wait so long. I think it was a bit unneeded because she really knew who he was so I didnt understand her reluctance sometimes. Tilly...I sorta liked her but...I dont know I think shes been on her own for so long and has such bad experiences with covens that she sorta washed her hands of them and refuses to be apart of this one. I can understand it but then again makes her look witchy bitchy lol. Boy the witches took a major stand against the pack. I get that they probably needed to but seriously could they not do it in the middle of a crap storm? Good one Annabelle. lol. Luke was sweet and cute and very understanding and supportive that Tilly didnt want to join the coven but didnt mind helping the pack. She just didnt want to do a blood oath or whatever witches do as a coven. Still...this isn't over that much is obvious. This was a fairly big battle with werewolves with expanded powers but something else bigger is coming. Bum bum bum....lol.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Loved it! By A M Kavanagh I love the Coven Series! Retreat brings another Fae to the pack. I love Tilly, she is my favorite witch mate, so far. I liked her acceptance of being a lycan mate. She didn't just melt for Luke either. I liked that she didn't just fall in with the other fae mates. I like her independence. While she says seh doesn't play well with others, she does what needs to be done. Luke is my favorite of the lycan men. He is so easy to like. He and Tilly make a great team. Finally Caleb and Wendy. Can't wait to see what is coming that the fates brought these women together and boud them to the pack and packs vampire friend.
