She has given us a good urban read with three different stories involving three of the Brooks brothers, and their lady loves. A very intriguing read from a newbie. Tanya's winning draw was the manner in which she wrote her introductory synopsis; now on that she did an excellent job. The goodness of which permeated through the rest of her wonderful storyline. This young writer does a fantastic job with the creativity of her plot. Her characters are life like and readers connect to the powerful essence of their beings within the story. Each brother's separate story is intertwined amongst themselves; creating a unified and tightly woven narrative.We have Sean the middle Brooks brother, who finds himself fighting and resisting the growing sexual attraction he has for his stepsister, Kat. Then we have Darnell, the youngest brother, trying his best to get the object of his affection to accept the sexual attraction he is feeling for her. Then there is the oldest brother, Jamal Brooks, the most dangerous of all the brothers; looking for love in all the wrong places when in actuality, it's front and center in his world. The question is, will he reach out and touch, or will he not be able to see the forest for the trees?This book is laced not only with hot, hot romantic romps between the sizzling Brooks brothers and their chosen ones, but the building suspense, which is skillfully woven through each of the individual brothers' storyline, is like a steamroller, flattening your emotions and then bringing them back up into heights that require you to steady your breathing, or else run the risk of not breathing at all. This story is all that and more! The ensuing ending will have you champing at the bit for book 2. I am literally salivating with anticipation. I surely hope this young author doesn't disappoint by never finishing this read. But only time will tell.These three brothers' stories are told centered on the events surrounding one night in the club atmosphere geared towards murder. We have romance and erotic couplings encapsulated within a graphic and mysterious read. Ms. Love has a very bright career in front of her based on this her Freshman entrance, into the genre of urban fiction. I am so very glad to have literally stumbled upon this alluring and riveting anecdote. I, as a fan of this genre, welcome Tanya into the fold of talented writers/authors currently gracing this stage of urban fiction. She is to be counted as one of the cream of the crop. Keep up the good work Tanya, and be assured that your presence will be enjoyed by many others as they become exposed to your unparalleled ability to tell a magnificent story.
