MICHEL SOLLIEC is a French Brittany based illustrator. After many years of working for an advertising agency and media group in Montreal, Michel returned to his homeland where he settled as a graphic designer and illustrator working for various publishing houses. His spare time is spent cultivating his love of drawing, illustration and painting.

6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Great Coloring Book! By Jamie L. Baumann I am shocked that this book doesn't have any reviews yet. It is quite amazing. I love the range of designs in this book. There are large murals of Aztec/Maya characters, floral patterns, animals, temples, birds, geometric patterns. It really offers a wide range of images. Which is nice. After coloring the foliage-based books by Johanna Basford, I was relieved to be able to color something besides flowers and leaves. Don't take that wrong. I LOVE HER BOOKS! But sometimes you need something different/new. This book is softcover, BUT the front and back covers do have a hard, cardboard composite cover on them. IT is kind of hard to explain. Only the binding isn't reinforced. They probably did this so that you could easily open the book. You also don't have designs going through the crease, which is GREAT. I hate it when I can't color into the binding.

By Kathleen Hobel The art work is superb, BUT, for the price of the book I would expect one sided pages!Most of the main pictures are backed by patterned work, but some are backed by another great picture.If you color in anything other than colored pencils you will have bleed-through!

The best book that I've purchased so far By M Mirandy The best book that I've purchased so far. the detailed pictures are printed on nice paper that doesn't bleed through. The hard back cover gives you the incentive to take your time and do the best you can on every page so you can keep it on the shelf.
