Laugh out loud funny and honest to god reflection of Wes' journey By Hannah Kim Wes Janisen's first book is definitely everything I expected and more. I knew (based on his blogs and short stories) he would write like he actually talks: funny, cute, pop culture references, and of course, dramatic with lots of eye rolling. However, what I didn't expect (and was pleasantly surprised by) was his honesty and vulnerability in speaking about his trials and triumph to non-virginhood. It was his "Kate Moss with no makeup" sharing of his experience that led me to reflect on my own, and societal perceptions about this journey we all had been on.I highly recommend "I Swear I'll Be Good At It!" to anyone who wants a good LoL, wants to be in the company of a lively friend like you're already on rounds of Cosmopolitans, or those who may have struggled or are trying to..um..well, lose it.

I'm grateful to see that Wes' life is just as awkward, if not more awkward than mine, except he's brave enough to tell us his journey. Thanks for sharing with us your mishaps, Wes, without promoting promiscuity. I wish all the teenagers of America would read this, as well as all my single friends in their mid to late 20s who are at the "why does no one love me" stage. This ebook was absolutely marvelous and hilarious, thank you.

Very enjoyable read By Jana Wes writes as if he's confiding in a close personal friend, which makes for a great reading experience -- you feel like you know him, that you can relate to him, like he's emailing you directly to talk to you about his life. And his stories are all entertaining, I laughed out loud a few times, especially just the parts where he's talking about trying to diet and go to the gym so he can look hot so someone will want to date him (there's an excerpt of this on Huffington Post, it's how I discovered the book). I was just like, "omg, I feel this way all the time!" Fun read, totally worth four bucks!
