A good general overview By Benjamin Szweda This book is a good general overview - just make sure a general overview is what you want before buying this book / signing up for a class that uses this book. I'm on chapter 6 and so far I haven't learned anything new. I either knew the information from researching my intended career online or I had learned the info previously in another more specific psych / stat / research book that I have read. I would recommend this book as a starting point if you are interested in the topic of clinical psych - you could then buy other books on more specific aspects of psychology to learn more about them. The book is well written and flows well. At times it is a bit more wordy than necessary, but it is not a confusing read by any means.
