1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Duct tape Cleavage; It's real, really! And it works! By Linda M.S. I love this book's format of short stories you can finish in 15 minutes or so. You can get your 'chuckle on' any time of the day. I was howling when I read the story of the naked intruder appearing at a girls' golf outing. Wish I had been there...would I have been quick enough to have taken up the chase with a 3 wood and gone after him? Dunno...but makes me laugh when I think of the look on his face. Oh, and women of the world outside of Alaska; the duct tape cleavage really worked but you had to be quite the 'quick ripper-stifle your scream of duct tape' if you had landed your trophy-man for the night and taken him back to the lair. I don't think men need to know all our secrets.What a fun read. Thanks for taking me on some journeys that I don't think I have the guts to do in real life!

It you want to laugh and cry and learn about life in Alaska, this book is for you. It's filled with the author's recollections of life in a construction camp during construction of TAPS, life in Anchorage during the oil boom in the 1980s and 1990s and even has some Alaska style Sex In the City exploits of young woman struggling with the kinds of life events 20 somethings live through. Thoroughly enjoyed this. It's a book women as well as men will enjoy.
