The cookbook master, Amelia Sanders open with the 5 guidelines to good eating habits and then jumps into the delicious recipe collection. The very first recipe hooked me immediately Sweet Potato and Sausage Hash. This was the beginning of the 10 recipe Energizing Breakfast section. Another early morning grabber was her Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie. Her next step is directly into the 10 Filling Main Courses. Some of my favorites are Pork Burrito Bowl, Black Beans and Chicken Nachos and Braised Shepherd's Pie. The 10 Enticing Deserts included Peach Rosemary Crisp and Soaked Chewy Cookie. Her 10 Soups, Salad and Sides section includes Beef and Barley Stew and Cheesy Potato Salad. She closes out with Healthy and Nutritious Drinks like Chocolate and Banana Protein Smoothie and Chai Tea Latte. Your family and friends will delight in these unique tasty and super healthy meals.Recommended.

The nutritional guidelines 'chapter' is less than one page, and contains only couple of very broad tips. The recipes themselves don't look so bad, haven't tried them yet, but I have two issues with them. First, the author provides zero supporting information regarding the nutritional content of these recipes. Essentially it's just a plain cookbook. I have a hard time believing (or frankly, understanding) how these recipes contribute to a balanced 'micronutrient' diet that this book advertises, but fails to explain. Secondly, she omits certain details that would be either a.) crucial, like exactly how much salt goes into brownies (anyone who has ever baked knows that this is a nigh-heretical crime), or how many servings a recipe can make. Overall, it's a fair collection of recipes, but the title and premise are misleading at the best.
