Clear, Concise and Educational By Amazon Customer I grabbed this one because I am always looking for and reading about alternative medicines and therapies. While this is one I may or may not use in the future, I really appreciated all the information that is in the book, as well as the fact that it is written in a way that anyone can understand.This book takes you through the history and the science of HBO, then moves to what one can expect during the treatment and afterwards. The author is honest about risks and benefit, and answers most questions about this treatment choice along the way.I see this book as a great resource for anyone looking into this or other alternative therapies, as well as those who are preparing to go through this type of treatment. I do wish that there were more photos and diagrams as part of the process, but I do understand that that's the nature of a kindle book on occasion. Other than that I think this is an excellent, excellent resource.

I had so many questions about the subject before and this book managed to answer most of them in a really well written way. I would recommend this book to anyone who is curious about HBOT. Well worth the read.

A thorough overview of hyperbaric oxygen therapy By Amy Hyperbaric oxygen therapy was the stuff of science fiction to me, but really it’s science fact. This book really helped me understand the science behind it. Also, I learned the different types of Hyperbaric chambers, how to prepare for therapy, what to expect during treatment and what to do post-therapy. The book also lists different examples of when hyperbaric oxygen therapy is used. The history of hyperbaric medicine was also interesting. I didn’t realize how long it had been around. If you are interested in learning more about hyperbaric oxygen therapy, this book is easy to understand.
