About the Author Donna Arp Weitzman is a wife, mother, and businesswoman who enjoys writing and a good pair of Manolo Blahniks. She and her husband Herb live in Dallas, Texas, where they enjoy spending time with family and friends. Donna earned her BSE and MSE in Counseling from Midwestern State University and completed the Harvard Business School OPM Management Program. Donna has served as a mayor and leader in local city government and continues to serve the greater Dallas community in a variety of civic and cultural roles.
However, it's the lessons Donna has learned in the school of life that she most wants to share with others. Cinderella Has Cellulite is Donna's first book. Her writing has previously been published as a columnist for The News and Times, Tri-Cities, owned by The Dallas Morning News. As a frequent public speaker, she enjoys making others laugh and opening their eyes to a new perspective on some of life's most challenging experiences.

Helgason Donna Arp Weitzman kept me in stitches with this hilarious and cleverly written short introspection of life becoming a "last wife". Married or not, you'll enjoy her quick witted humor and then think of 100 girlfriends to send one to!

I loved the description, and had high expectations for a fresh, honest and funny look at dating/relationships in mid life. Instead I just felt alienated. I didn't connect with the book at all, and I didn't find it very funny. I just didn't relate at all.This is just my personal experience. The book has many great reviews, which tells me it's appreciated by many.

This book is a semi humorous / honest look into the trials and tribulations every person goes through when they rediscover a new companion. Obviously the author draws on personal experiences, yet still finds a way to make every issue covered in the novel relatable to all kinds of individuals going through their own circumstances. The best part about the book is that it leaves you with a reassuring sense of comfort and guidance that allows every reader to feel like each relationship we endure is worthwhile and fruitful in its own way. This author paints numerous pictures that we can all envision when taking on a new love interest no matter where we are in our lives and having someone who can conceptualize these delicate quandaries of your soulmate / partner's baggage as well as your own makes it a lot easier to digest the material. This book is truthful but also satirical which makes a really fun and valuable read. Would highly recommend to all readers looking for a new and fun way to analyze a potential long lasting romance.
