About the Author Denise DeNicolo maintains a private psychotherapy practice, providing a wide range of counseling services to diverse populations. She graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Counseling & Human Services from the State University of New York at Oswego. Denise has extensive experience as a therapist and program manager in various settings in non-profit agencies, residential treatment centers and military facilities before embarking on private practice. It provides lots of step by step detail on everything someone would need to know in the process of opening a practice. It is thorough and concise and covers everything needed to succeed on your own. This book is written from real life experience. The author is an accomplished therapist and shares her knowledge and know-how that she has gained through the years being in a private practice. She knows what works and what doesn't and helps to streamline the process to make it as easy as possible. I like it that all the forms and letters needed to start your business are included in this book and you can alter the content to fit your individual needs - what a great bonus!
