Laughter for Your Day By tvtv3 Although it's often compared to Gary Larson's "The Far Side" Scott Hillburn's "The Argyle Sweater" is more lighthearted and is more pop-cultured infused. It's my favorite one-panel strip that is currently published in newspapers. With THE ARGYLE SWEATER 2016 DAY-TO-DAY CALENDAR I can enjoy a little of "The Argyle Sweater" each day without having to have a newspaper around or search around the Internet. There are a little over 300 comics found here (Saturdays and Sundays only have one comic between the two days). Also, there's a little fun fact, piece of advice, word puzzle, soduko, etc. found on the back of each calendar day.

He has a wonderfully wacky sense of humor and I enjoy how he 'sees' the world. Not only is he a great artist, his thoughts shine through. I love my ARGYLE SWEATER day-to-day calendar.All of the daily cartoons make me laugh. Some of them are simply hysterical. Others really pertain to MY life or my family/friends. Scott seems to hit the nail on the head with everything he creates. Also, in flipping through the calendar, each cartoon seems to be a new creation. I DO NOT cheat and look ahead; I want new treats daily.The calendar is drawn so well. The colors are as sharp and bright as Hilburn's wit. The calendar is a perfect little square and fits perfectly tucked in a corner on my computer desk resting on its plastic holder. On the back side of each calendar day is the DAILY EXTRA. This is an added attraction so it's like you are getting double your money's worth! Included in the DAILY EXTRA are fun facts, SUDOKU puzzles, silly jokes, spelling questions, all sorts of fun and interesting things.This is my third ARGYLE SWEATER daily calendar. I intend on getting one each new year. Having a laugh is always good for your heart and soul. Scott Hilburn, you are awesome.
