Gray I’ve had an embarrassing flare up of hemorrhoids for the past two years and because of the shame that I can’t get over, I bought this book instead of going to my doctor. I did this because I’m relatively young, fit, and don’t want someone staring at me in that area. I just hoped this book could possibly just help me relieve the pain that I’ve had for so long. After digesting the material and following the procedures outlined, I can happily say that I am now doing better than I have in a very long time. The author provides exacting details on what to do, and the “magic step” alone was worth the price of admission. Now I have no more burning, itching, and dull pain, while the protrusions have dramatically decreased. I would have never known that this could be alleviated by just a few easy to follow tactics that are disseminated in this book.If anyone else is afflicted with this embarrassing issue, I can attest that you should immediately purchase this book. If it helped me in such a short period of time, I’ve no doubt that it will definitely make a difference in many other lives as well.

I particularly liked the specific natural remedies--these make the cost of the book worthwhile.One important thing the author missed when avoiding constipation is to drink 1 or 2 pints of fresh, room-temperature water (not coffee, tea, juice, milk, or soda... water) upon first arising. Wait 15 to 30 minutes before eating. This process augments our natural cleansing cycle. Also, more water is needed throughout the day to offset coffee, alcohol, foods, etc. but not at mealtime.

Learn Eruption Step-By-Step At A Playable Speed for Intermediate Skill Level & Up By ESVK I just got this book and the break-down of "Eruption" by itself is worth the price of admission. The book comes with a code where you can go online and download the accompanying audio files. The songs are broken up into 4 or 5 pieces on the audio files to aid with learning particular sections. The pieces are played at both normal speed and at 1/2 to1/4 speed so that an intermediate can keep up. These transcriptions are the real deal and even "Eruption" is manageable at the slow-demo speed for most intermediate players. The only downside to this product is that whole songs with backing tracks are not offered like with other Hal Leonard PLay-Along series publications like Van Halen 1978-1984: Guitar Play-Along Volume 50 (Hal Leonard Guitar Play-Along) I originally subtracted 1 star for not have the full length backing tracks, but decided not to as the author of this product probably had no control over this aspect.You may wish to invest in a piece of music tempo software so that you can gradually increase the rpms of the tracks. I use Song Surgeon 4 (just google it) and I love it. There are also some cheaper alternatives that aren't quite as snazzy like Amazing Slowdowner.

Because they didn't include these tracks on a CD that came with the book, which should have been done for this price. I had to download the tracks and then make my own CD, which was a pain in the a$$.

Notes on each song give you the inside scoop on how to attack that section. It also includes the links to download both Full Band demos and slow demos to help you nail the tough stuff. Overall, a great guide to get you started on nailing Edward's music.

It's our tradition for the last 7 years. The daily things are usually humorous. They have started putting puzzles(sudoko etc) on the back as an added bonus.

The CEO By Sue P The CEO is all about forbidden romance and hidden desires...Ava has been in love with Cal since she met him, but he belonged to another woman. She hides her attraction underneath a believable cloak of dislike and contempt. I found Ava a difficult character to like, because she was just not nice to Cal and made a lot of assumptions about him. Even as a relationship between them cautiously builds I had a hard time connecting with her. This is partly due to her character and partly the forbidden romance part of the plot which in this scenario for me was just a little too much of a turn off. I liked Cal, how he wanted to prove himself, but didn't talk poorly about anyone, instead letting Ava find things out on her own. Although a novella, the growth of their relationship didn't feel rushed. It was interesting watching the relationship between them grow and wondering if they could make anything between them work.I liked the secondary characters in this book, I saw just enough of them to keep me curious, and I liked the relationship they all had.If you like this kind of forbidden romance and well hidden lust, I would recommend The CEO.

It is just as good as the first brother’s, Chris, story. I loved catching up with Chris and Ellie at the beginning of Callum’s story. However, I want to point out that this novella can be read without having read The Millionaire.One of the things I like best about this author is how well developed the characters are even in this novella series. I snickered a little at Callum’s nickname for Ava, as Ava the Terrible. I think that thought of his is insightful for both of the characters. As true feelings are revealed, that nickname no longer holds true. I liked also how the ex-wife is not a terrible person, just the wrong one for Callum. Most of all I like how these stories feel complete and satisfying even though they are novellas.4.5 StarsThe publisher through Net Galley provided a copy.

Since he belonged to her sister, he was off limits so she hid her feelings by saying she didn't like him. When Callum and Lulu's marriage ended, Ava was angry with him....but she didn't know the truth of their breakup. Even with her anger, she couldn't get him out of her mind.Now Ava has the professional opportunity of a lifetime - to do the landscaping at Callum's house. She isn't sure she can work for him until Callum presents her with an offer she can't refuse.The day Callum met Ava, he dubbed her Ava The Terrible because Ava had never been shy about revealing her disdain for him and his wealthy family. Callum doesn't know what happened because now he can't stop thinking about how Ava will look naked.Maybe working on the landscaping job will allow them to see what may have been right in front of them. I really enjoyed this book, it is well written and well paced. In addition, the characters are likable. I look forward to reading more in this series.ARC provided by the publisher through NetGalley.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. These characters are something else! By Fancy I must say, in the beginning of the book I was very unsure of where the author was going. There seemed to be a lot of characters and the story wasn’t exactly flowing. In Real Hood Luv is Priceless we are introduced to Mystique and Danika, who are cousins but grew up more like sisters. Mystique is married to Gemini. He appears to be giving her the world from the outside looking in, but we learn they have a lot of issues. One night a plan Gemini came up with was executed poorly and Mystique, Danika, and their friend Kenya are left to tie up loose ends or else all of their lives are in danger. This causes Mystique to cross paths with Diesel, who may be my favorite character from this story.Towards the end the story began to tighten up a bit and the author began to show the connections between them all. There is a lot left to be explained and I am interested in seeing where the author goes with this one. I recommend better editing as there were quite some issues throughout this story.

Overall good book By Amazon Customer I enjoyed using this book, but sometimes it took me a second to figure out what the author was saying, because the words were sometimes spelled wrong or the wrong word was used. Overall the information was helpful and gave a good OVERVIEW of mental health and how to treat it. This book did not go nonspecific detail about every illness and treatment, but I'm not quite sure that is what this was here for. I do give a thumbs up for this book!

Our most modern monster and perhaps our most American, the zombie that is so prevalent in popular culture today has its roots in African soul capture mythologies. The Transatlantic Zombie provides a more complete history of the zombie than has ever been told, explaining how the myth’s migration to the New World was facilitated by the transatlantic slave trade, and reveals the real-world import of storytelling, reminding us of the power of myths and mythmaking, and the high stakes of appropriation and homage.  Beginning with an account of a probable ancestor of the zombie found in the Kongolese and Angolan regions of seventeenth-century Africa and ending with a description of the way, in contemporary culture, new media are used to facilitate zombie-themed events, Sarah Juliet Lauro plots the zombie’s cultural significance through Caribbean literature, Haitian folklore, and American literature, film, and the visual arts. I thought I did, until I read this book, which rocked my provincial little world and showed me the true history of the undead. In the introduction to The Transatlantic Zombie, Lauro argues that the zombie is perhaps our most “American” monster: It comes from elsewhere. It’s informed by slavery colonialism, and occupation. “Yet somehow,” she writes, "this always gets relegated to the backstory rather than treated as THE story.” What follows is certainly THE story — the authoritative history of the zombie myth, how it was used by Haitians against their colonial oppressors, and how it was stolen by Americans and turned into a commercialized product for the masses. Can the zombie be saved from consumer culture? Based on my reading of this book, I think the answer is a resounding maybe. But if we have a thorough understanding of the zombie’s origins, I think there’s a better chance that the living dead will live on.

About the Author Talon James is passionate about everything in life and lives life to its fullest. Her reason, is that as a young woman she was struck down with massive pain, which she suffered for years before finding out that she has Fibromyalgia. "I was shattered thinking that my life dream was now out of reach. I couldn't even get out of bed some days, and I remember thinking about my future. I had always relied on my physical self to get by, and now that was no longer an option," stated Talon. It was during this period of her life that Talon found her love of reading and learning, however had trouble remembering the important facts of what she had just read. During this time of recuperation, Talon stumbled upon an old tattered 70 year old book. This book changed her life. Instead of having to rely on her physical body, Talon was now able to work with her mind. "My memory became so much better...I was now able to remember important lists and to-do steps from all the books I was reading. No longer was I struggling to remember steps 1 and 2 and struggle with the rest." Talon was so excited about the change in her life, that she wrote her first book about this very topic. "This method has changed my life so much that I wanted to share this technique with others." 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Color My World By Spudman Thirty years ago my brother-in-law gave me an anatomy coloring book and a large box of colored pencils. At first I wasn't sure what to make of this unique gift but over time spent many hours with that book, relaxing, creating, and learning. This coloring book from Talon James and Robyn Jamison is not the coloring book of your childhood, instead it's a book filled with intricate, art house images, a stress reliever and an opportunity for creativity and play.There is not distracting text other than the repeated " This page has been intentionally left blank". Only one picture is on a page; the other side is left blank in case one wishes to use liquid markers and not worry about bleed through ruining the picture on the other side. For the serious armchair "artist" some creations may become frame worthy; removing a page shouldn't require much more than carefully scoring near the binding edge with sharp scissors on knife and a straight edge.It's interesting that the pictures are all on the right hand side until midway through the book then move to the left hand side of the open book. This way two preferences are addressed.Looking for one of those adult coloring books you've been reading about? This Grown Up Coloring Book coloring book lets out the inner child in you. It really saps the wired-in-the-head feeling when meetings, meetings, meetings just won't let you sleep. Really, when I was a kid I used paint by numbers oils to accomplish the same thing without knowing it. These detailed drawings represent hours and hours of potential stress relief. Give it a try. You won't regret it. Don't take my word for it! Look at the first fefw pages. I was amazed how it worked for me. Anyway...Highly recommended.
